This 2017 documentary focuses on the healing connection between mind and body. The film is centered around the idea that making changes to our mindset and mental approach can have a significant impact on physical healing.
Throughout the documentary, we are introduced to multiple individuals who have been diagnosed with life-threatening conditions and explore various non-traditional healing practices. One of the featured individuals is Anita Moorjani, a woman diagnosed with terminal cancer. Her story about a sudden change in healing inspires faith and illustrates the miraculous results of a shift in perception of life and healing.
With the film taking an approach to alternative methods (also known as holistic medicine), there is much room for interpretation by the audience. Some of the alternative methods discussed in the film are meditation, a shift in mindset, Reiki, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), nutrition, faith, and more. This movie gives us a fresh look at alternative medicine and how it can be beneficial in addition to conventional medicine.

Armstrong’s story takes a dark turn when he is diagnosed with advanced testicular cancer at the peak of his career. Such a life-threatening diagnosis led to countless surgeries, painful treatments, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy.
After an unexpected halt in his cycling career, Armstrong powered through grueling rounds of treatment, which proved successful and led him back to the pursuit of his career. After miraculously returning to the professional world of cycling, he went on to win the Tour de France numerous times.
Armstrong’s journey is an inspiration to all about perseverance and strength. His story is filled with lessons that he learned throughout his battle with cancer and revelations that are sure to inspire others.
