What I Wish I Knew
a podcast about navigating the cancer journey with knowledge.
It begins with a diagnosis that reshapes your world. Maybe you’re overwhelmed. Maybe you’re asking what comes next. Or maybe you’re ready for deeper conversations about healing and choice. Wherever you are, understanding your options and hearing real stories can change everything.
When she was 24 years old, just after launching her women’s health company and at the height of her social life, McKenna was diagnosed with stage III synovial sarcoma. She immediately felt overwhelmed trying to figure out what the heck to do next.
She dedicated the next two years to focusing on her health, diving into how to truly heal, deciding what she wanted her pathway to look like, and investigating all the treatment options available. While she was at her lowest, she promised herself that she would share all the things she so painstakingly learned through countless hours of research, conversations, and consulting with doctors and other patients.
Now, she’s in remission, the healthiest and happiest she’s ever been, and is launching the podcast she always wanted to have. The podcast will share all the things she wish she had known from the moment she first received the news.
